The Working Group Terms of Reference (ToR) provides an explanation of the role of Working Group Chairs, Members, Focal Points and External Experts, and how the Secretariat is positioned to support the work and outcomes of the Working Group.
In addition, it shares details of previous Working Group reports and webpages to be used as examples for future groups.
As discussed with the Taskforce 2.0 Steering Committee, an increase in Commissioner advocacy and networking to expand the use of Broadband Commission publications is essential. As part of the Working Group process, each group is required to create and implement a communications plan upon the completion of their major output or publication. We are highlighting the work done by the Working Group on AI & Health as an example of “best practices” for Working Group communications and continued outreach. We hope that this example can provide both inspiration as well as a template for organization of future communications.
The Broadband Commission design team has a formatted report template for your use.
In this zip file you will find an Adobe InDesign file and pdf version of the report, as well as the official fonts to be used in the publication. For additional questions regarding formatting, please email bbcommission@itu.int.
The Broadband Commission has distinct brand guidelines that should be followed when creating any communications materials. Please use the provided PowerPoint template for any external presentations for your Working Group. If you have any questions contact the Secretariat.
The Broadband Commission Overview document provides a snapshot of the mission, values and functions of the collaborative multi-stakeholder group. This overview can be shared with external experts to provide more insight into the work of the Commission.
