Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Independent State of Samoa
"As Commissioner of the new Broadband Commission for Digital Development, I believe Broadband is very important, especially in developing countries like Samoa as it is the enabler and mechanism that allows us to deliver services online particularly in education, health, agriculture, commerce and a safe environment. It allows the government through the use of e-Government to be more accountable, efficient and transparent in its interactions with its citizens."
