Vice President, Government and Education, Intel Corporation
John Galvin is the Vice President of Intel's worldwide Government and Education group. In his role, Galvin sets the global vision and strategy for collaborating with governments to accelerate social and economic development through sustainable technology solutions. John's global team of experts works across Intel's diverse business units as well as its global network of partners and strategic alliances to provide compelling technology solutions to support governments' visions of transformation and growth in areas including e-governance, health, innovative entrepreneurship and digital government platforms.
John is a global education expert, having pioneered Intel's education strategy and holistic solutions to educational outcomes with educators, students, publishers, and education partners around the world. Prior to his current role, Galvin was a senior leader in the Corporate Marketing Group where he served as the director of partner marketing, and market research.
Before joining Intel in 1995, Galvin spent 10 years working in technology distribution in various capacities including sales, marketing and operations. Galvin earned his bachelor's degree from California State University, Long Beach.
